Course Objectives:

Upon successful completion of the Mechanic (Tractor) trade, the trainee will be able to:

✅ Perform basic fitting work, including grinding, surface finishing, sheet metal fabrication, bending, and welding operations.

✅ Carry out electrical, electronic, non-destructive testing (NDT), and battery testing in a tractor workshop environment.

✅ Service and maintain cooling, lubrication, intake, exhaust, and fuel feed systems of various tractor models.

✅ Overhaul diesel engines, clutches, gearboxes, differentials, and PTO (Power Take-Off) units.

✅ Repair and maintain the steering system, power tiller assemblies, agricultural implements, and charging/starting systems.

✅ Carry out preventive maintenance and troubleshooting for the entire tractor unit.

Semester-Wise Learning Outcomes:

Semester I
