ITI Dollygunj offers various skill-based courses under the guidance of the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) and the Directorate General of Training (DGT), Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE), Government of India. - Reservation: 4% seats reserved for differently-abled candidates.
Training & Examination Pattern
The institute follows a structured training approach, combining practical and theoretical learning. The All India Trade Test (AITT) is conducted twice a year (January & July), and successful candidates receive NCVT certifications, enhancing their employability.

Government Industrial Training Institute Dollygunj Port Blair was established in the year 1988 under Andaman Nicobar Administration. The primary function of this Institute is to train young boys/ girls in various vocational trades approved by NCVT. The Institute is coming up with all workshop and other infrastructural facilities for carrying out the various training programs to meet the current development in the field of vocational training.The Institution is housed in a picturesque location at Dollygunj, Pot Blair in a campus encompassing the Office building, Hostels and Staff Quarters spread over 5.00 hectares of land. The Institution is affiliated to The National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT), Delhi that provides the approved curriculum of All India Trade Test for all the trades.
This Institute has two types of training viz.
a) Training in Engineering trades
b) Training in Non-Engineering trades
Candidates are admitted to the course in the month of August every year.
