  • Perform hand stitches on given fabrics.
  • Stitch and construct using different fabric techniques:
    • Seams with seam finishes
    • Darts, Pleats, Tucks
    • Gathers & Shirrs, Frills
    • Hems, Casings, Edge Finishes
    • Necklines, Plackets, Pockets
    • Collars, Sleeves, Cuffs

🔧 Fix & Mend Garments

  • Attach fasteners to fabrics (buttons, zippers, hooks, etc.)
  • Mend torn or damaged fabrics

📐 Pattern Drafting & Sewing

  • Draft patterns for a Ladies’ Suit
  • Cut and sew a Ladies’ Suit using drafted patterns

Semester – II

🖌️ Manual & Digital Sketching

  • Manually sketch Indian and Western Dresses with appropriate fabric designs
  • Create digital designs for Indian and Western Dresses using CorelDRAW software

📏 Block Pattern Development (Different Sizes)

  • Develop block pattern sets for:
    • Children
    • Teenagers
    • Ladies
    • Gents

🎭 Draping Techniques

  • Make patterns for:
    • Basic Bodice with Darts
    • Basic Bodice with Princess Line
    • Basic Straight Skirt
    • Basic Circular Skirt

🧵 Garment Construction (Adaptation, Draping, Manipulation Techniques)

  • Construct garments with accurate fitting and high quality, based on sketched designs and blocks:
    • Dress for Children (Yoke Frock)
    • Dress for Teenagers
    • Ladies Dress, Ladies Suit, Ladies Nightwear, Ladies Blouse

🔄 Pattern Grading Techniques
